Insurance Details

Depending on your insurance provider, counselling services may be covered partially or in full.

If your insurance company doesn’t allow for direct billing, a PDF receipt will be provided to you to submit for reimbursement.

Session frequency is flexible and is up to each individual client. Many clients begin with weekly or biweekly appointments and gradually reduce to more occasional sessions as their needs change. Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes and billed at $160 per session. Insurance coverage may apply.

Student Coverage

Many student health plans in Nova Scotia, such as Dalhousie’s, include full coverage for counselling (up to $1,000). Check your plan details to see what’s included and make the most of this valuable support for your mental health.
